Original Restored and Linen-Backed One-Sheet Movie Poster. Classic 1956 Mark Robson directed boxing film noir about a publicist who reluctantly agrees to promote a lumbering Argentinean boxer as a heavyweight contender, starring Humphrey Bogart, Rod Steiger, Jan Sterling, Mike Lane (as "Toro Moreno"), Max Baer, Jersey Joe Walcott, and Edward Andrews. This was Humphrey Bogart's last film. 

Note, Professional heavyweight champion boxer, Primo Carnera, "The Ambling Alp," sued Columbia for $1.5 million in damages, alleging that the film was based on him and invaded his privacy. The lawsuit was not successful.

Condition: Professionally Restored and Linen-Backed. Pre-Restoration Condition: Fair to Good. There were several defects scattered along the borders and fold-lines/cross-folds, and there were one or more areas of significant fold-line and/or cross-fold separation. A few of the tears or other defects as described above were repaired with tape from the back. There was some minor top and side edge trimming. The poster has been beautifully restored and backed and is ready for framing.
