The Bribe Standee (Ca., 1940's)

Ca., 1940's die cut cardboard standee for the 1949 film noir, The Bribe, starring Robert Taylor, Ava Gardner, Charles Laughton, Vincent Price and John Hodiak. "When a Woman's Love is the Bribe. A Man Forgets Everything Else!' This folded cardboard standee was meant to be displayed at the theatre to advertise the film. It would have been attached to a support by the string on the back . These standees are ultra rare and lucky to survive at all because they were expected to be disposed of after display.

Condition, Good. Some fraying at the edges, fading, minor paper loss at fold, scuffing, water staining and some mustiness as depicted in our photos.
