Note: The Latin Quarter is a New York night club founded by Lou Walters (Barbara Walters' father) in 1942 at 1580 Broadway at 47th Street. During Walters' tenure, the club featured big name acts, chorus girls and a can can dance act. The club went through several iterations and locations over the years (the original building was torn down in 1989) and more recently focused on hip hop.
