Signed and Dated Ellen Griesedieck and Sam Posey "Auto Art" Exhibition Poster (1980)

Exhibition poster for the second annual "Auto Art" exhibition held at the Interlaken Inn, Lakeville Connecticut in 1980. The poster exhibits former race car driver and sports broadcast journalist, Sam Posey in his formula 5000, original painting by his artist wife, Ellen Griesedieck. The poster bears two signatures, purportedly the artist and her husband, Sam Posey.

Note: Although we cannot guarantee the authenticity of the signatures, it is exceedingly likely that they are authentic. Posey and Griesedieck lived locally, and exhibited locally at the Interlaken "auto art" exhibition, Posey raced locally at nearby Lime Rock Park race track, the poster was matted and framed by a local framer, and the item was procured locally.

Condition: Very Good to Fine. Very slight rippling at the top mat edge. Professionally matted and framed. Sturdy metal frame.
