Original Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster. 1955 William Wyler directed crime, film noir loosely based on the real-life story of a family taken hostage in their home by escaped convicts, starring Humphrey Bogart, Fredric March, and co-starring Arthur Kennedy, Martha Scott, Dewey Martin, Gig Young and Mary Murphy.  The Desperate Hours was the first black-and-white film in VistaVision.
